| This training session shares techniques that creatively use children's abilities and interests to keep them occupied and learning. In the video Bradley defines what a transition activity is, introduces the Seven Elements of Good Transition Activities, and then applies those seven elements into seven activity categories. The seven categories include Character Sketch/Role Play; Imagination; Large and Small Motor; Recognition and Memory; Quieting Down/Crowd Control; and Repetition. This is a valuable traning resource for anyone who works with children. The content of this class is based on the book “101 Learning and Transition Activities” by Bradley Smith and Adam Smith.
